Are MPs Privileged?
My piece in today's Law Society Gazette looks ahead to the appeal next week by three former MPs and a peer against a decision that the Crown Court had jurisdiction to try them on charges of false accounting. I shall be explaining rather more of the background to that decision in my column for the forthcoming print edition of Standpoint.
