Dressed for Success

Dressed for Success

BY JONATHAN FOREMAN

According to The Times, David Cameron gave his closing speech at the Tory conference while wearing a Savile Row “handmade suit that would normally cost £3500. Conservative Central Office said that he had paid £1185”

Surely it hasn’t been possible to buy a Savile Row suit for little more than a grand for at least three decades.

If Central Office isn’t delivering pork pies, and Cameron isn’t accepting an illegal discount, it would be nice for both the tailor and the public if Cameron were to reveal the name of the establishment that makes such elegant suits at such rock bottom prices. It would no doubt win hundreds of new clients.
